In his previous jobs, Ruben experienced that finding intelligent, dedicated colleagues (with a sense of humor) is a very hard task and that the personal fit with the company cannot just be determined based on a CV. This sparked the idea that there was room for improvement. Together with his companion Friso, with an extensive background in IT, he decided to further crystallize the needs of job seeking professionals, ultimately resulting in the foundation of BP Employment.
Ruben first got acquainted with recruitment through organising the Erasmus Recruitment Days (Europe’s largest on campus recruitment event) as well as the International Research Project for FSR and talent acquisition for NewSkool. He has over three years’ experience as a consultant in the financial sector. At KPMG he worked in the Corporate Finance & Valuations team where he engaged in several M&A and restructuring trajectories. Before KPMG, Ruben was an analyst within the Data Analytics & Management Information team of ABN AMRO Bank and analysed the Private Equity portfolio of PGGM while active in their strategy team.
His background in organising recruitment related events, combined with substantial work experience within finance has gained him a solid basis to steer BP Employment together with his enthusiastic colleagues.
